A 10 minute stroll past the cricket ground will take you into Corsham, where there is a selection of good eating places, & some interesting little shops. The centre consists of lovely mellow cotswold stone cottages, dating back to the 14C & clustered around the Church. Alongside is Corsham Court, the country house of the late Lord Methuen & home to a renowned art collection & gardens by Capability Brown.
